RonnieRAMSAYRonnie Ramsay, 102. Peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital, 10th December, 2024, after a short illness. A memorial service to be held Friday 20th December, at 12.45pm, at Co-Op Funeralcare, Quarry Road, Irvine. Thereafter for burial at Knadgerhill Cemetery, Irvine. Family flowers only.

Ronnie was a real character, and I have very fond memories of him from when I was in the Ranger Guides with my sisters, Carol and Sheila. He introduced us to rifle shooting, and always had a twinkle in his eye. My last memory of him was years ago just after he had had both hips replaced. Carol and I had gone to take Jenny out for coffee, and he insisted on standing at the window supported on two sticks so that he could wave to us - I can still see that cheeky grin on his face!
